ABOUT THE JOB
IT Support is responsible for securing functionality and monitoring performance of IKEA’s computer systems, networks and data lines, securing that IKEA’s security rules and guidelines are followed in order to support the users to reach the goal in Business Plan for IKEA
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
Single contact point for IT tasks:
Trouble shooting incidents of PCs, laptops, printers, networks.
Support Helpdesk for issues relate to servers, network, network service, other incidents and problem of users such as main system in proper permission.
Contact and report to Helpdesk any problems, incidents, changes at local IT environment.
IT purchaser:
Set up contact and service agreement with local service provider.
Purchase IT equipments follow IKEA rules at possible lowest price.
IT assets inventory and control.
Manage IT services:
Secure local internet line for video conference
Support users for network issues, system connection, system access, unlock and reset password for NT, applications installation, printers.
Support suppliers for system issues , unlock and reset password for supplier’s system.
IT assets: Label, identify and manage IT equipment: PCs, laptops, servers, printers, router, switches, LAN and WAN equipments, backup tapes, backup drive.
Update, introduce, train and refresh users on basic IT environment
Apply requests to Helpdesk for granting systems access or revoking systems for right users.
Daily backup for local data.
Partly support main system within IKEA
Others:
Manage server room to meet IKEA standard.
Planning for upgrading, changing IT environment to meet business requirement (for local requirement only)
Manage telephone system
Adhoc administrative tasks
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
Knowledge of IT hardware
Knowledge of network
Knowledge of operation systems
Knowledge how to install/uninstall drivers/software
